Survivor Stories
Brian Isfield - Canada
Mr. Isfeld is the father of Mark Isfeld, a Canadian peacekeeper who was killed by a landmine in Croatia in 1994. Brian and his wife, Carol, are powerful reminders that landmine survivors include millions of families worldwide who have lost loved ones to landmines. Today, Brian is helping the Network gather data on peacekeepers who have been injured by landmines. He has conducted numerous media interviews for the Network in Canada and the United States. He also uses the Webpage Mcpl Mark Isfeld Memorial Page, created in memory of his son, to help publicize LSN's activities.
