LSN El Salvador Economic Opportunity
LSN-El Salvador, partnered with FUNDAPYME (Foundation for the Sustainable Development of Small and Medium Enterprise), and INSAFORP (Salvadoran Institute of Professional Formation), to sponsor a workshop aimed at providing survivors with skills to support and grow their businesses. The workshop, “Know your Enterprise,” was divided into six modules, and included information on the economy and markets, accounting, and other necessary business tools. As a result of the training, 34 survivors have started their own small businesses, including retail and food kiosks, tailoring, shoe repair, bakeries, carpentry, and bicycle repair shops.
