LSN Jordan Health
Where We Work LSN-Jordan supports Al Basheer Hospital by providing the raw materials required to produce above-knee prostheses in a number of urgent health care cases.

Through a joint collaboration between LSN-Jordan and the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC), a workshop was organized to provide medical information specific to treating survivors of landmine accidents. Jordanian surgeons from both the public and military sectors participated.

The Surviving Limb Loss pamphlet series and other educational materials are available in Arabic, and have been distributed to thousands of survivors.

Sports
LSN and the Jordan Sports Federation (JSF) signed a partnership agreement in February  2004. As a result, the first amputee swim team in Jordan was established, and running clinics led by two foreign experts were held. Three Jordanian amputee athletes trained within the framework of this partnership, and participated in the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens.

Recreation
In partnership with by the High Council of Youth, LSN-Jordan organized a summer camp for 50 survivors from different areas across the Aqaba region. The camp provided an opportunity for survivors to exchange stories and share their life experiences.
