Horror and hope are our heritage as co-founders Jerry White and Ken Rutherford, two American landmine survivors, create the Landmine Survivors Network. Their vision is to help other survivors, as well as rid the world of these life-shattering landmines.

Vienna, Austria. American landmine survivors Ken Rutherford and Jerry White join forces with other mine victims at the United Nations Review Conference on Landmines in Vienna, Austria - the first conference in fifteen years dedicated to strengthening controls on weapons considered "excessively injurious" and to have "indiscriminate effects."
